South celebs are known for regular visits to renowned temples, and Trisha is the most recent one to do so. The actress was recently seen praying at Madurai's Meenakshi Amman Temple. Her Instagram account alerted her followers of the news. The actress posted a photo from her temple visit, in which she is dressed in brown ethnic clothing.

Trisha shared the first look at her new film, The Road, on her birthday, May 4th. The actress is seen standing on a roadway next to a jeep in the still. "Revenge in 462 kilometers," says the slug in the photo.

In the film, Trisha will reportedly be shown in a never-before-seen avatar. Fans are enthused about the project after seeing this intriguing peek. AAA Cinema has financed the drama directed by Arun Vaseegaran. The filmmakers have already begun filming the project.

According to reports, the plot of the film is based on true events, and the soundtrack was produced by CS. Mia George, MS Bhaskar, Santosh Prathaap, Shabir, and Vivek Prasanna, among others, will play pivotal roles in the drama.

Trisha's upcoming filmography also includes Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan. Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayaram, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vikram Prabhu, and Ashwin Kakumanu also star in the film, which is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's 1955 novel Ponniyin Selvan.
