Telugu sensation Vijay Deverakonda is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the pan-Indian film Liger. The young star's fierce new avatar in the biggie has drawn quite a significant amount of attention. For the devoted lovers of VD, we now have some more exciting news. The pan-Indian film will probably have a sequel, revealed Vijay. Puri Jagannadh wrote and directed the sports drama Liger.

Liger marks Vijay Deverakonda's comeback to our screens after his last performance in the poorly received but financially successful World Famous Lover (2020). The film has gained popularity among young people due to its use of catchy phrases like "waat laga denge" and "I am a fighter." Vijay hinted that Liger 2 would be coming out before its release. The star claimed there will probably be a sequel to Liger in an interview with a news website.

Vijay, however, firmly declined to discuss the prospective sequel's plot in any further detail.

Vijay Deverakonda plays a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter with a speech impairment in the sports drama Liger. The movie marks Ananya Panday's Tollywood debut. Among others, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and Makrand Deshpande play significant roles in Liger. In the film, legendary boxer Mike Tyson will make a cameo appearance. On August 25, Liger is slated to hit the theatres.
