After ‘Peshwa Bajirao’, Megha Chakraborty signs a new show?
The actress made her television debut with Badii Devrani which aired on &TV.

Popular television actress Megha Chakraborty, who was last seen in the historical show Peshwa Bajirao on Sony Entertainment Television, has got a new soap. According to reports, the actress has been taken onboard to play the female lead in one of Star Plus’ upcoming shows. Recently, we had covered a story stating that well-known television producer Saurabh Tewari is planning a new show inspired from one of Hindi writer Harishankar Parsai’s work. This is the same show which Megha has bagged.
“The team is presently working out logistics of shoot schedule and will begin shoot in February. The show will be based in Indore. Megha Chakraborty has been roped in to play the lead role,” reveals a source.
However, when the actress was asked about the same, she told a leading entertainment portal, “There is nothing like this happening at the moment.”
Well, it seems we will have to wait for an official confirmation from the makers to ascertain if Megha is indeed a part of the show or not.
