Arun Govil's remarks about ‘Adipurush’ recently made waves in the entertainment world. He criticised the creators for updating it and making it appear to be a "Hollywood Ki Cartoon." He inquired as to why the film needed to be readapted. He also criticised the wording that was used before the writers modified it.

When Om Raut kissed Kriti Sanon on the cheeks at the Tirumala Tirupathi Temple during their promotional trip, ‘Adipurush’ courted controversy before the film's premiere. According to Dipika, today's actors are unable to portray their roles as authentically as they once could. She even inquired as to why the film is continually adapted. No one can duplicate what they did in the past, she claimed.
