Akshit Sukhija opens up about his upcoming show Fanaa
Every general entertainment channel is gearing up to launch several exciting shows in months to come. Colors is also set to raise the curtain on its much-anticipated new offering Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawaan.
Recently, the channel unveiled the teaser of the forthcoming show which whetted audiences’ curiosity to no end and now everyone is waiting for the show’s launch with bated breath. Check out the teaser here:
Fanaa revolves around three characters, namely Ishan, Pakhi, and Agasthya, and how the dynamics change among them over the time is what forms the crux of the story. The show is going to be loaded with a plethora of twists and turns. As far as the casting is concerned, the makers have roped in Reem Shaikh, Zain Imam, and Akshit Sukhija in principal characters.
Talking about what drew him to Fanaa, Akshit Sukhija told a publication, “After Lakshmi, I was very skeptical with scripts. I wanted to do something different this time from my previous show. I did get one or two offers earlier but I was a little choosy on picking the show as I had already been a part of saas-bahu drama and being a mama's boy. With Fanaa, it is different. The show is youth-based and has the lesser context of saas-bahu drama in it. This one is a love triangle. When I got to know Reem and Zain were my co-stars, the production house and channel of course were major reasons to agree to the show.”
