In the most recent Anupamaa episode, Toshu intends to steal Choti Anu away from Anu to exact retribution. He contacts the orphanage residents and incites them to attack Anu and Anuj. They are shocked when orphanage residents show up at the Shah and Kapadias' homes. Toshu receives a slap from Anuj for his nefarious scheme, and Choti Anu sees him as the ideal father. Even still, Vanraj criticizes Toshu while standing up for Anupama. Toshu, on the other hand, is distraught since his relatives despise him for what he did.

Anupamaa's upcoming episode will show Anu getting ready for Navratri. Toshu will not be allowed to participate in it, Anuj and Vanraj. Toshu will be indignant and outraged as a result. Then, Kinjal will choose to divorce Toshu and end their relationship. Toshu's surprise at Kinjal's choice. She will then decide to leave and start over somewhere else.
