Breaking! ‘Imlie’ Headed For Yet Another Leap?

Star Plus' show ‘Imlie’ is getting the love of the audiences. The show's current track revolves around the Rana family being trapped in a life-threatening situation. Imlie gets emotional, gives her daughter Kairi a life lesson, and asks her to always be caring towards her family if she isn’t around.
Now, BollywoodMDB has exclusively learned that the show is apparently taking a generational leap. Yes, you read that right. A source revealed, “The makers are on the lookout for the new cast and have also done a few mock shoots”.
We got in touch with Megha Chakraborty who plays the character of Imlie in the show and asked her about the apparent leap. The actress said, “Well, nothing is confirmed yet.”
‘Imlie’ started off with Sumbul Touqeer and Gashmeer Mahajani as leads and later post Gashmeer’s exit, Fahmaan Khan entered as the new male lead of the show. The show took a short leap, introducing Cheeni staying with Imlie in Pagdandiya. Post that, the show took a generational leap and actors Megha Chakraborty, Karan Vohra, and Seerat Kapoor were roped in for the show as main leads.
This will be the show’s second-generation leap.
