The harvest celebrations of Lohri, Makar Sankranti, and Pongal are almost approaching. While Makar Sankranti and Lohri are observed on January 13 and 14, respectively, Pongal is observed from January 15 to January 18 this year. The Star Bharat actors are ready to celebrate Makar Sankranti, Lohri, and Utarayan, the first festivals of the year, to make this new year even more auspicious. New shows that will debut in the next few days are being planned by Star Bharat to ring in the new year. The stars talked about their plans for this year's festival celebrations.

Rachna Mistry

Show- Na Umra ki Seema Ho

“I celebrate both Utarayan and Makar Sankranti as a Gujju who was born and raised in Maharashtra. I still remember my Marathi classmates bringing "Tilgud Ladoo" for us to eat while saying "Tilgud ghya god god bola," as well as how we used to celebrate Utarayan by flying kites back when we didn't have open terraces. Now that we do, however, it's a completely different experience. Additionally, my mother used to bake Kurmura ladoo and conceal monies in them as a surprise for us during this holiday, which was quite interesting. Additionally, my mother used to prepare Kurmura ladoos at this festival and bury coins in them as a surprise for us, thus the occasion is particularly dear to my heart. If I had a day off this year, I would absolutely love to fly a kite while also taking care of the birds.”

Show: Aashao Ka Savera…. Dheere Dheere Se

I enjoy spending Lohri with my family anytime I'm not filming, but this year I'll probably be filming for Star Bharat's next show, "Aashao Ka Savera.... Dheere Dheere Se," so I'm not sure about the plans. Nevertheless, I always make sure to eat my favourite 'Til Gud' ladoo around this time.

Show: Meri Saas Bhoot Hai

I'll be spending this Lohri with my mother. I'll take her shopping first, and then I'll visit a mandir to ask for blessings for my forthcoming Star Bharat show, "Meri Saas Bhoot Hai." I always observe this event in a pretty straightforward way, and I'll continue to do so this year as well. I'll assist my mother with some domestic tasks and prepare some desserts at home with her before leaving to go have a little fun at Juhu Beach.

Deepshikha Nagpal

Show: Na Umra ki Seema Ho

It's a double celebration for me because I'm part Punjabi and half Gujarati. I like to fly kites during Makar Sankranti and I celebrate Lohri in the neighborhood where I live. Considering that I'll be filming "Na Umra Ki Seema Ho" this year I'm not sure how I'll commemorate it this year, but I'd love to have a location to fly kites because I used to be the best at it. Additionally, my mother and grandmother used to create a dessert called "Gol Papdi"; regrettably, I won't have time to make it this year, but I'm sure I'll enjoy eating it.
