The Indian television program 'Kumkum Bhagya' has one of the longest runs. On April 15, 2014, the program made its debut and celebrated its ninth anniversary. Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia were the show's original stars, and additional actors began appearing in 'Kumkum Bhagya' in 2019 after a significant jump in cast size. Presently appearing in the show are Mugdha Chaphekar, Krishna Kaul, Tina Philip, Abhishek Malik, and others.

The show’s producer Ekta Kapoor talks about the show's rare milestone. She said, “We started our journey in 2014 with Abhi and Pragya, and now we have completed nine years. It is extremely overwhelming.”

Mugdha Chapekar plays Prachi, and she is currently enjoying the show’s success. She is in seventh heaven. She said, “For me, Kumkum Bhagya is pure love. The show has been getting so much love globally since it started. I have a lot of gratitude in my heart to each and everyone attached to our show. On completing nine years, we look ahead towards an interesting story to keep the audiences engaged.”

Fans are awestruck by the chemistry between the lead actors Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul, who play Prachi and Ranbir, respectively.
