Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya celebrate their first Gudi Padwa after marriage
One of the most loved couples of the Television, Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar celebrated their first Gudi Padwa after marriage. At their Mumbai residence, the two were spotted celebrating the event. The couple did the pooja and hoisted the gudi jointly. The couple, who married on July 16, 2021, took to Instagram to wish their followers on the happy occasion. They also shared a number of lovely photos from their celebrations, including ones of them dressed in traditional garb and carrying a gudi in their hands.
In the picture, the Bigg Boss 14 runner-up is seen dressed in a yellow printed kurta with black trousers whereas Disha donned a traditional Maharashtrian saree in shades of pink and golden. Sharing the same series of pictures on their respective Instagram account, the couple captioned it as, “गुढी पाडव्याच्या हार्दिक शुभेच्छा (Happy Gudi Padwa).
In an interview with E-Times, Rahul said, “Last year we celebrated Gudi Padwa together, but this year it is as husband and wife, so it's even more special. We didn’t have a lavish celebration, we keep it simple. We did the traditional puja to mark the new year and then we hoisted the gudi. It was a good day spent with family.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Disha is now starring in Ekta Kapoor's acclaimed television series Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. Rahul Vaidya, on the other hand, was last seen in Color's popular show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.
