Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Sheetal Maulik Shares The Reason Why She’s Leaving The Show, Says, “I Wanted My Character To Be Meatier”
BollywoodMDB has been at the forefront in reporting exclusive updates about the leap in Star Plus show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’. We informed our avid readers that Fahmaan is not likely to bag the show as the makers and the actor didn’t even have a meeting.
We also reported about actors like Abhishek Kumarr, Ankita Khare, Udit Shukla, Manasi Salve, and Nimai Bali being roped in for the show post-leap. As per reports, Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma have been finalized to play the lead roles in the show. We at BollywoodMDB also reported that actress Sneha Bhavsar will quit the show. Soon after, news of actor Vihaan Verma quitting the show post-leap started doing rounds.
We also broke the news that along with Neil Bhatt, Ayesha Singh, Harshad Arora, Sneha Bhawsar, and Vihaan Verma, even Sheetal Maulik and Mridul Kumar will mark their exits. Sheetal and Mridul play the characters of Sonali and Omkar Chavan in the show.
BollywoodMDB got in touch with Sheetal to know about her exit from the show, she said, “I was almost aware that I won’t be continuing post-leap because it was a mutual decision between me and the makers… I wanted my character to be a lot meatier than before… for which they tried their level best but we couldn’t conceive it the way we wanted... However, I am really going to miss all the good times I had on set over the last three years.”
Talking about her journey in the show, Maulik added, “My journey has been really exhilarating…. I have learned a lot from everyone around me. I had the best times on the sets … I am going to take a bag full of memories and a handful of amazing friends who became my family over time.”
She concluded, “I am leaving the show with a heavy heart… but you have to move on to grow more .. I hope to work with the makers and the channel again very soon.”
