Within a very short span of time, Zeeshan Khan has established himself as a talented actor on Indian television. Ekta Kapoor's long-running show Kumkum Bhagya has made him a household name across the country. The actor also had a short stint on Bigg Boss OTT a few weeks ago.

The young actor is now looking forward to exploring other roles and genres on television. He feels that television has made him more spontaneous.

Talking to a publication, Khan says, "TV has helped me grow as an actor in a way where it made me more spontaneous. It taught me to think on my toes and to think quickly. Unlike films, where we have a lot of time to go through the script and get into our characters, on TV we have to transform from real to reel in an instant. What we shoot in the morning is aired on TV in the evening, so its very cut to cut, because of which we don't have much time to prepare and get into character. So you need to be your best at any given point."

The actor goes on to add that television has taught him a lot and today he can play any character with aplomb. "It is like my showrunner can walk up to me and ask me to play a certain character. And I will have to do it. More than anything, I have to make everyone who sees me believe my portrayal. So that immediateness is what TV has taught me. It has taught me how to drop into a character at any given point and now, I take only 30 seconds to get into my character," he signs off.
