Ishita Dutta gets emotional as her show Thoda Sa Badal Thoda Sa Paani goes off-air
Actress Ishita Dutta and everyone attached to Colors’ show Thoda Sa Badal Thoda Sa Paani are disappointed to learn about the show wrapping up so soon. The show premiered on August 23, 2021, on Colors and is now headed for its closure.
Talking to a leading publication, Dutta expressed her disappointment over Thoda Sa Badal Thoda Sa Paani bidding adieu so soon. She opened about how she and the entire cast felt upon learning about the closure of the show.
“I think it is definitely very disappointing. When you start a show, the entire cast becomes your family. With the character also you live every day. Movie schedules are fixed – 1 or 2 months and then it is done. With television, it goes on and on. For 6-7 months, I lived as Kajol every single day. So, when we got to know each other, we felt very sad,” the actress said.
Remembering her last day of shoot on the sets of Thoda Sa Badal Thoda Sa Paani, Dutta added, “I remember the last day. We had known for a week that the show was ending and on the last day we all were very emotional. Ravi ji, who played my father, came to the sets at night. We were shooting at 12am at night. The scene was, we were looking at a picture of him, because he was no longer in the show. And we were all hugging each other and crying. And when we raised our eyes, we saw him standing for real. We just couldn’t control our emotions and we kept crying. The entire unit was crying. That’s how close we were. But such things happen. What can be said? Barring a few shows, most of the shows are wrapping up early nowadays.”
