Netizens are criticizing the Dalai Lama's viral behavior in which he is seen urging a 7-year-old youngster to suck his tongue and giving him a lip kiss despite his apology. Shraddha Arya, who was one of many who criticized the Dalai Lama for his horrific deed, has since apologized to the Dalai Lama for her harsh remarks and made it clear that she didn't criticize the cast or the religion, only the act. The Dalai Lama has criticized this, but many people have come out in his defense, saying that this is a part of their Buddhist traditions.

While receiving harsh criticism, the Buddhist monk also decided to apologize and explained that the 87-year-old monk was in his jocular mood and frequently engaged in such behavior with children. However, this explanation was not well received by the general populace.
