TV star Helly Shah says she can sleep peacefully as her film Zibah gets qualified for the Oscars

And we can say with certainty that Helly Shah feels this way once her film Zibah qualifies for an Oscar. Zibah, according to Helly Shah, is "one of the top three Indian films to have a theatrical screening in Los Angeles and is eligible for Oscar qualification." The actor tweeted the news and stated that he is "feeling wonderful" right now.
The actress shared, “This one is a benchmark in itself. To be screened in LA, and get the Oscar qualification, feels great. No one of us imagined that we were going to reach here. It’s a big deal for the entire film. I’m super proud to be a part of it.”
Even if her movie has only been screened so far in Los Angeles, it still has a long way to go before it is even nominated. She adds, “It’s a long run! Sirf yaha tak pohchna hi badi baat hai humare liye. Out of 2500 films, we are one of the three films, so it’s big news. We hope that it does get selected and people love it. I’m keeping my fingers crossed. It’s about celebrating these small victories. When we started making the film we didn’t imagine something like this would happen. It’s a big achievement for the entire team.”
Helly hopes that after Zibah, which is focused on female genital mutilation, receives positive critical reception, she will be offered further roles and projects. Nevertheless, she is incredibly content, proud, and joyful. Helly expressed her satisfaction with her decision to participate. Her work will benefit from this choice, and she claimed that it helps her sleep peacefully.
