Adaa Khan talks about her OTT debut with Shubh Mangal Mein Dangal
Adaa Khan has come a long way ever since kick-starting her acting career with Palampur Express in 2009. The actress has been a part of several popular shows over the years and has established herself as one of the most versatile actresses on the tube.
Khan can be currently seen in Shubh Mangal Mein Dangal, a family comedy series which marks her foray into the digital space.
Talking about the same, the actress told a publication, “This is the first time I am doing something in a complete comedy genre. And this is my debut show. The response is overwhelming and I am very grateful for that. I am getting feedback and I am really happy with it because I have not done comedy before.”
She continued, “And about my character, I like to experiment and I have always liked doing different things. Comedy as a genre is something that I had never explored and I was very excited to do it because I am very open to my choices of roles. I like variety and I think I work best in that.”
Shubh Mangal Mein Dangal also stars popular television actor Nishant Singh Malkani. Sharing her experience of working with him, Khan said, “Nishant and I had not really met ever before, even during industry meetings we never met. But we clicked on the sets. We had a lot of fun. There was an understanding which leads to the chemistry that people are talking about, and that then shows on screen.”
