Barun Sobti lands a high-profile streaming show set at Netflix?
Barun Sobti is one of the most popular actors on Indian television who has been entertaining audiences for more than a decade now. The actor, who kick-started his acting career with Star Plus’ show Shraddha, became a household name after he played the character of Arnav Singh Raizada in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, again on the same channel.
After headlining a few television shows and films such as Main Aur Mr. Riight (2014) and Tu Hai Mera Sunday (2016), Sobti started exploring the digital space. His 2020 show Asur turned out to be a mega success and is now set to return with a second season.
While we await the premiere of Asur 2, the actor has reportedly landed yet another high-profile streaming show. Yes, according to reports, Sobti has signed on to star in an upcoming Netflix show that Clean Slate Filmz is set to bankroll.
Not much else is known about the forthcoming untitled venture at the moment, but we hear that it is a gripping thriller, which will also feature Harleen Sethi in the lead role. The shoot of the series is already underway, as per reports.
