Bengali Star Prosenjit Chatterjee Bags Prime Video’s Series Jubilee
Prosenjit Chatterjee is widely regarded as one of the most important actors in modern Bengali cinema. He primarily works in Bengali movies. Prosenjit's breakout role was alongside Vijeta Pandit in 'Amar Sangi,' a hugely successful romantic drama directed by Sujit Guha.
He made his Bollywood debut in 'Aandhiyan,' directed by David Dhawan. He began doing middle-of-the-road cinema with 'Chokher Bali,' which starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in her maiden Bengali film and met with critical and economic success upon release. Over the years he has starred in many Bengali films, and now he is set to mark his OTT debut.
Prosenjit Chatterjee Marks His OTT Debut
Prosenjit Chatterjee will make his OTT debut with Vikramaditya Motwane's Hindi web series ‘Jubilee’, which will premiere on Prime Video on April 7. Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta, Nandish Sandhu, and Ram Kapoor star in ‘Jubilee’. The streaming platform revealed the same with an announcement video.

In the video, Prosenjit looks stylish in striped suits and cool shades, while Aditi Rao Hydari oozes the aura of a yesteryear heroine. Sunidhi Chauhan's Babuji Bhole Bhale, reminiscent of a few Geeta Dutt hits from the 1950s, plays in the background, providing a nostalgic beauty to images of trams traversing the streets of Bombay, the Majestic Hotel, and the Empire theatre.
