The third season of the popular criminal drama Mirzapur on Amazon Prime Video is eagerly anticipated by fans. Probably one of the best web series in the OTT space is the one starring Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal.  Mirzapur also featured Divyenndu Sharma and Shweta Tripathi in major roles. Shweta, who is well-known for her critically acclaimed performances in movies like Masaan, Haraamkhor, Cargo, and shows like The Gone Game, and Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, claimed that she has chosen to turn down unsatisfactory projects on purpose, even if doing so resulted in her going underemployed.

In an interview, the actress remembered her Haraamkor co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s words when he told her that some actors must be choosy. She revealed, “That has been ingrained in my mind. l love acting, and I want to do more of it but at the same time, I am conscious of what I want to do… I consciously want breaks in between because I want my characters to be different from not just me but even each other. I don’t want to burn out. It is too soon for that. I just want to enjoy my work. The more time you give to your characters, the effort shows on the screen.”

Further talking about the OTT space and choosing her projects, the 37-year-old actress said, “I don’t do projects for money. I did Mirzapur after reading two episodes, out of which my character was not even there in the first episode. But I just wanted to be a part of the world that was created. It was the same case with Masaan, The Gone Game, and Escaype Live. I want to be part of projects which I would like to watch as an audience. This is why there have been phases where I have had no work at all because I didn’t want to do the work which I was offered.”

According to reports, the producers are currently filming the show’s scheduled to shoot in Mumbai. Ali Fazal's appearance in Season 3 is probably going to be scarier than it was in Season 2. According to rumors, Kalin Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) would be shown exacting vengeance for Munna Bhaiya's death (Divyendu Sharma). Soon, Pankaj Tripathi is anticipated to start filming in Mumbai.
