The first season of the popular Netflix historical drama was centered around Phoebe Dynevor, who plays Daphne Basset. She had a more supporting role in season 2 compared to her on-screen husband Rege-Jean Page, who had left the show and didn't appear at all. As of right now, Phoebe Dynevor is reportedly not a part of Bridgerton Season 3 - at least, that's what she told Screen Rant on Saturday, January 28 at the Sundance Film Festival.

Phoebe hints at her absence from season 3 of Bridgerton

When questioned about the intriguing developments in store for Phoebe's character Daphne in the upcoming and new episodes, the 27-year-old actress responded, "Unfortunately not in season 3. Maybe in the future But I'm just delighted to watch as a viewer for season 3, she continued. The exit or return of Phoebe Dynevor to Bridgerton has not yet been officially announced by Netflix or the Shondaland production company. While the other cast members of the show continue filming for the series in England, Dynevor has been on a number of award shows around the country.

Bridgerton season 3

The period drama's first season, which aired in 2020, focused on the relationship between Rege-Jean Page's Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings, and Daphne, the eldest Bridgerton daughter. Anthony, the eldest Bridgerton son, was represented by Jonathan Bailey, and Kate Sharma, portrayed by Simone Ashley, in the second season's love story. The slow-burning enemies-to-lovers plotline in the previous season starring Jonathan Bailey's Anthony and Simone Ashley's Kate Sharma caused a great uproar. A new focus will be placed on Luke Newton's Colin Bridgerton and Nicola Coughlan's Penelope Featherington in the upcoming third season.
