Raashii Khanna wraps up filming for her webseries Rudra, co-starring Ajay Devgn
Tollywood star Raashii Khanna is on a roll! After establishing herself as one of the leading actresses in Telugu cinema, she is now taking baby-steps in Bollywood. The actress has bagged a couple of high-profile projects in Hindi, including a big-ticket streaming show called Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness.
Set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar, Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness is the official adaptation of the hugely successful British crime-drama series Luther. Khanna shares the screen space with Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn in the series, who will play the role of a cop. The series marks his foray into the digital space.
The actress wrapped up her portion in the series and shared her happiness by dropping a bunch of pictures from the last day of the shoot on social media. “And it is a wrap on Rudra: The Edge Of Darkness. It has been one of the most challenging roles I ever had to play! I can just hope to have done justice to it. Here's thanking my director Rajesh Mapuskar for always being a pillar of support, Ajay Devgn sir for being a fabulous co-star and the entire cast and crew for the wonderful journey! Can't wait for you all to witness this world. Coming soon,” Khanna wrote on Instagram.
Rudra: The Edge of Darkness is touted be an engaging, dark, and gritty crime drama. This webseries is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India. In addition to Raashii Khanna and Ajay Devgn, it also features Esha Deol and Atul Kulkarni in important roles.
