Now, he is gearing up to shine on the OTT screens. On February 14, the giant streamer revealed the series that will debut on ZEE5. Following the announcement of the series' impressive cast, which also includes Naseeruddin Shah, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shubham Kumar Mehra, Aashim Gulati, and others, Dharmendra pleasantly delighted fans by revealing his first look from the next series. Today, Dharmendra released the first picture of himself from Taj: Divided By Blood, his forthcoming web series.

The veteran actor dropped his first look on his official Twitter handle and wrote in the caption, “Friends, i am playing Shaikh Slim Chishti ….a sufi saint, in film Taaj. A small but an important role………need your good wishes” Almost unrecognizable as Sheikh Salim Chisti, the actor wears a lengthy robe, a turban, and a long white beard. Naseeruddin Shah plays Akbar in the show.
About Taj: Divided By Blood
A dramatized narrative based on actual events is titled Taj: Divided By Blood. A startling tale about the inner workings and succession drama that took place in the sacred halls of the Mughal Empire is how the series is characterized. The plot centers on King Akbar's (Naseeruddin Shah) search for a worthy heir throughout his reign. It highlights the rise and collapse of succeeding generations, displaying the great dynasty's beauty and savagery, their love of the arts, poetry, and architecture, as well as their incredibly callous choices about their own family in the pursuit of power.
Dharmendra to star in Karan Johar’s film
Additionally, Dharmendra will appear in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the forthcoming movie by Karan Johar who is also returning to director's chair after many years. Ranveer Singh, Shabana, Azmi Alia Bhatt, and Jaya Bachchan are also featured in the movie. The date of release is slated for July 28.
