Love You Loktantra Movie Review Rating: 3.5/5
This is a political parody that pokes fun at the tricks that our nation's dishonest and cunning leaders use to hold onto their positions of authority. The movie, which was written by Sanjay Chhel, is quite current in that it immediately brings to mind the recent power play in Maharashtra when the balance of power changed suddenly. Despite being boisterous and gleefully appealing to the most common denominator, the movie aims to remark on contemporary Indian politics while incorporating a little of north Indian vernacular and authentic insane comedy.
Ameet Kumar, a male lawyer, and Sneha Ullal, a female lawyer, are in a professional triangle with two Chief Ministers who are at odds with one another (Manoj Joshi and Isha Koppikar), who are both lawyers, hovering over the formation of the government. The thriller, in which a ridiculous scheme goes haywire with attempts to stop intentions to overthrow the government, centers on two Independent MLAs who were kidnapped overnight.
In an effort to appeal to the general public, director Abhay Nihalani sets out to include the film, which has an intelligent screenplay and dialogues by Sanjay Chhel, as well as many twists and turns and cameos by stars in their own right Krushna Abhishek, Ravi Kishen, Sneha Ullal, and Sapna Chaudhary, as well as pedestrian comedy by Ali Asgar that almost verges on vulgarity. Isha Koppikar, who plays a negative character, stands out from the rest and deserves praise for her performance.
Ameet Kumar, an actor who also doubles as a producer and an advocate, does a fantastic job as the Chief Minister's lawyer, and Sneha Ullal gives it her all. Ali Asgar gets a lot of laughs. Daya Shankar Pandey does well in the role of the Chief Minister, whose wife has aspirations to be the State's ruler and whose only source of power is her. Malpani, the public prosecutor, is hammered by Ravi Kishen. In conclusion, Love You Loktantra is a current satire that is a one-time watch and has all the masala components to appeal to the broadest audience while also satisfying the least common denominator.
