Recently, actress Tunisha Sharma killed herself by hanging herself. Sheezan Mohammed Khan, her co-star and rumoured boyfriend, had a makeup room where she was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan. She was 20. The unexpected nature of her death shocked the nation. Additionally, it emphasised the necessity of raising awareness of mental health once more. For those who are unaware, Tunisha spoke candidly to a news source about her battle with depression last year.


In an effort to spread awareness, some actors have previously discussed their struggles with mental health difficulties. Several other celebrities, like Deepika Padukone, Manisha Koirala, Ileana D'Cruz, and Aamir Khan's daughter Ira, have been outspoken about their battles with depression.


In order to raise awareness, the Bollywood actress who is renowned for speaking out about her mental health problems launched the Live Love Laugh foundation. She spoke with Meghan Markle recently about how others had previously viewed her mental health difficulties. What if I just end things now? was the most consoling thought. I was relieved to see that this was wrong."


In 2020, the Baahubali actor published a frank letter of despair. "Everyone is imperfect; there is no right or wrong; we are not given a road map for life when we are born; each of us can only respond to a circumstance in the best way we know how. Nobody ever has, and each of us, no matter how great or small, is weak in some manner. Each of us breaks inside, and that's okay. Some of us cry out for help, some cry in silence, some distract, some indulge, each in their own way, and some of us are helpless. Let's all please learn to support one another in our own small ways, in our own beautiful broken ways.”
