‘Yodha’, a film starring Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani, has been postponed once more. The release of this action comedy has been postponed from its original September release date. After the success of Shershaah, Sidharth is reunited with Karan Johar for the action movie. The background of ‘Yodha’, a film by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, is an airspace hijacking. The movie was originally scheduled to visit theatres on September 15, 2023, but now it will debut on December 15 instead.
‘Yodha’ is supported by Karan Johar's production company and features Raashii Khanna as well. Dharma Productions formally announced ‘Yodha's’ new release date on their Instagram account. "Re-fueled and Re-fueled and ready to soar! #YODHA - the first action film of the franchise headlined by Sidharth Malhotra and directed by debutant duo Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha - lands in cinemas on 15th DECEMBER, 2023. The film also stars Disha Patani & Raashii Khanna in lead roles."
Sidharth previously stated in a statement about the movie, “As an artist, you would want to work on scripts that bring out the best in you. This truly unveiled a newer version of me, which I am very thankful for. The amount of love I have received from audiences and fans is magical. I can't wait to showcase what Yodha has for them.” ‘Yodha’ is the result of a partnership between Mentor Disciple Films, Dharma Productions, and Prime Video. Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan produced it.
In addition to ‘Yodha’, Sidharth's upcoming film ‘Indian Police Force’, which is being directed by Rohit Shetty and set for release on Amazon Prime this year, will also feature him. According to rumours, the series is Rohit's ambitious spy universe's web arm. It will be the actors' debut online series, and it will be available on Amazon Prime Video. Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Vivek Oberoi play significant roles in the OTT series as well. Both films will probably be released in 2023. Sidharth is also in discussions for ‘Rowdy Rathore 2’, but the talks have stalled for a variety of reasons.
