KGF: Chapter 2 starring Kannada superstar Yash has achieved a cult status. After shattering every existing box office collection record, the multi-lingual film was released on OTT platforms to humongous response. However, the aura of Yash's Rocky Bhai is such that movie lovers are still lining up outside theatres to catch a glimpse of the magnum opus on big screen.
To mark the 100 days of KGF: Chapter 2 in cinemas, the makers took to Instagram and thanked the audiences for their love and support. "Thank You for scripting and stitching this amazing journey for us. We can still feel the jubilation & reverberation all around us. We promise to keep you enthralled with our next #Monster hit and of our home run!," read the post by Hombale Films.
Fans of Yash, who address themselves as 'Yash Army', also took to social media and shared various pictures and videos to commemorate the occasion. They hailed Rocky Bhai and hoped that the makers are soon back with a third installment of the KGF franchise.
Directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon, KGF: Chapter 2 was theatrically released in India on 14 April 2022 in Kannada, along with dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
With earnings of ₹1,233–1,250 globally, KGF: Chapter 2 is the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time, and the second highest-grossing film in India. A sequel to the film is in development, as per reports.
