Yash-starrer Kannada blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2 (2022) continues its phenomenal run at the box office. The action-packed film has collected over Rs 1,000 crore worldwide and is still going strong at the box office. It is also the fourth Indian film ever to cross the coveted milestone behind Dangal (Rs 2024 crore), Baahubali: The Conclusion (Rs 1810 crore), and RRR (Rs 1127 crore).
Adding another feather to its hat, the Hindi version of the Prashanth Neel directorial has crossed the Rs 400 crore mark- becoming the second film to achieve the feat- only behind Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which earned Rs 511 crore.
The news was confirmed by trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan on Twitter, “#KGFChapter2 ZOOMS past ₹400 cr in Hindi. First ever Sandalwood movie to enter this ELITE club.” He also shared that in the international market, the film has collected a revenue of Rs 1095.83 crore.
