Hindutva is one of the most anticipated films as the topic of the film has gained the audience’s interest. Ever since the motion posters were revealed fans have been at the edge waiting for the film’s release. In the trailer of the film, it looks like a political drama with a strong subject and characters. Aashiesh Sharrma, Sonarika Bhadoria, and Ankit Raj are the main lead cast of the film. Recently, the cast including Aashiesh, Ankit, and Sachin Choudhary sat for an exclusive interview with the team of Bollywoodmdb.
When we asked Aashiesh about people’s reaction to the trailer and how he felt about it, he said, “In the beginning, we felt like we would get a negative response as we hoped so, but we received loads of positive responses. I would like to give this credit to Karan Sir because he has written such effective dialogues.” Then we questioned him whether he felt nervous about the film or was he confident, to which he replied, “I think there are mixed feelings, and the day we stop feeling nervous then we’ll have to pack our bags and go home. But you know there is always this eagerness about the audience’s reaction and acceptance is what makes us nervous but it’s a good thing.” The actor also mentioned that the film which stands on a strong topic of Hindutva has received a U/A certificate from the Censor board and has cleared without any cuts.
Ankit Raj who is a known name in the industry spoke about how the audiences are already excited about what will happen and shared about his character. He said, “My character Sameer Siddiqui brings in a lot of twists and turns in the film. So, if my character details get revealed then many more things might get revealed.” We asked him that as the film stands on a strong topic of Hindutva, how are they perceiving the mix-matched opinions of the viewers? “For my character, Sameer Siddiqui, I read many comments that I might receive negativity after the release but many people who are watching it with an open mind like my character, so there are basically mixed reviews. I am sure that the film is a bit controversial because we have chosen such a topic but if people watch it with an open mind, people may like it. I think on a whole, such topics need to be discussed.”
Sachin Choudhary who also plays a crucial role in the film urged fans to watch the film with an open mind & heart with their friends, family, and loved ones. They should encourage others to watch the film and take a look at Hindutva from a different angle.
Hindutva- Chapter One: Main Hindu Hoon will be released in theatres on October 7.
