Many big-budgeted and multi-starrer films are in the making and will hit the screens next year. One such movie was to be made by Ajay Devgn , which stars Sanjay Dutt and Farhan Akhtar . But after the back to back failures, Farhan has decided to walk out of the project. If the sources are to be believed, "Farhan is revisiting most scripts that have been offered to him and wants time to reassess his acting assignments before he rushes into them." This Ajay Devgn ’s film was to be helmed by Nishikant Kamat .
In a recent interview with a leading daily, when Ajay was asked about the project, he stated, "I am producing the film and we are working on the script. It will start in January-February. It is inspired by Tamil film ‘Jigarthanda’ (released in 2014). It is a fabulous story. It is not going to be an exact copy of the film, we will change things. But at the same time, quite a lot of stuff will be similar."
He further said, "I was too occupied with work and I felt Farhan and Sanjay were apt for the film. It is true that Farhan plays an assistant director and Sanjay a gangster. This premise will be the same in terms of their role."
Well, the saying, “Once bitten twice shy” surely implies on Farhan, after mega failures of ‘ Rock On 2 ’ and ‘ Lucknow Central ’, the actor looks in no rush for any upcoming project.
