As it was decided, Milap Zaveri commenced shooting his upcoming film from 05th March. The film is titled SMJ and it stars John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee . The two stars were last seen in 2013’s film Shootout At Wadala and are reuniting after 5 years. Though Bajpayee is busy with his other projects, John started the shoot by giving the mahurat clap. Zaveri on Monday took to Twitter, where he shared a photograph of himself along with John holding the film’s clapboard. “And we roll! ‘SMJ’ mahurat shot done! Thank you John Abraham , Manoj Bajpayee , Nikkhil Advani , Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Bhushan sir,” Zaveri captioned the image.
John also shared the news on Twitter and said, “Ready for dialoguebaazi and action with @zmilap @BajpayeeManoj @nikkhiladvani @EmmayEntertain @Tseries”
In an earlier interview with a leading daily talking about the film, Nikhil had said, “It’s a very tight script which revolves around a cop and a murderer. I can’t reveal who between the two is playing what but they are both very powerful characters and a dark thriller is a genre I haven’t explored before. We are looking forward to the shoot.”
Bajpayee, who is busy with Sajid Nadiadwala ’s Baaghi 2 promotions, is more likely to join the team of SMJ once he’s done with the earlier film.
The film is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani and will come out in the next half of 2018.
