The hype making the task for the team of Lucknow Central has started with a good note, and pretty much distinct itself from the plot of Qaidi Band , which was touted to be a similar plot to this film. After introducing main characters from the film, makers of Lucknow released a song titled Kaavaan Kaavaan, which is a Bollywood rendition of popular Panjabi folk song, which is sung by Divya Kumar . Though it might have just been the just another version of this song, but the Percussions and Dhol element of this song might just cause you goose bumps.
The video opens up with the Farhan Akhtar ’ narration of his dilemma of willingness to escape the prison but also his desire to be a rock star so epic that people will enchant his name out loud! The band itself maintains attire and behavior of Desi Bands we can see frequently in ceremonies. Usually, the song Kaavaan Kaavaan, mainly popularized by Sukhwinder Singh , is composed and played in high pace but this particular rendition of the song chose to go with a slower pace to highlight the moments and struggled off the character and hints of their escape plan in making. This particular song is composed by Arjunna Harjaie!
The band, as well as lead actors, include Farhan Akhtar , Inaamulhaq, Gippy Grewal , Deepak Dobriyal , Rajesh Sharma with Diana Penty , Ronit Roy , Uday Tikekar, Sukh Kunwar, Vineet Gill, Ravi Kissen and Manoj Tiwari will be in a guest appearance! The film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and produced by Nikhil Advani in association with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Lucknow Central will be releasing on 15th September in the theatre near you!
