Over the last two years, Prernaa Arora ’s KriArj Entertainment has given us some fascinating and excellent movies which have been loved equally by the masses and the classes. Arora’s films have helped her to make a separate name for herself in the industry. Now, the young producer is keen to remake the 1967’s cult film, ‘ Raat Aur Din ’ which had late actress Nargis in the lead role. Arora wants beauty queen and talented actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to step into the shoes of Nargis in the remake. Speaking to a reporter, Prernaa Arora said, “We are collaborating together on a thriller to be directed by a debutant director. Siddharth (Anand) and I are co-producing the film.”
‘Raat Aur Din’ was based on the life Varuna (Nargis), a married woman who suffers from multiple personality disorder. It was the last film in the late actress’s career and also won her the prestigious National Film Award. As Prernaa is keen to do the film, she further said, “I had spoken to Sanjay Dutt sir about it. I am in talks with her (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) and it’s my wish that she does it. She has not confirmed it as yet.”
Well, we don’t know whether Aishwarya will do this film or not, but Aish and Arora are coming together with ‘ Fanne Khan ’, which will hit the screens on 15th June 2018.
