Cast : Kartik Aaryan,Paresh Rawal,Kriti Kharbanda,Tanvi Azmi,Sanjay Mishra

Director : Ashwni Dhir

Rating : 1.5/5

One Line Review: An uninvited and unwanted guest couple lands up at Aryan and Anaya’s place in London and creates so much of chaos in their life that they find no better way to get rid of them than throwing them away!

Positive Points: Ajay Devgn ’s small cameo and Sanjay Mishra ’s funny act.

Negative Points: Except above mentioned two points, everything is appallingly awful in the film. Bad story, poor screenplay and immature direction will drown the film at the box office.

Plot: Aryan ( Kartik Aaryan ) is on a 4-years working visa in London, which is about to expire. He does not want to go back to India and live a slow-moving life. To get a permanent UK citizenship, he plans a sham-marriage with an Indian-British girl, Anaya ( Kriti Kharbanda ), who agrees to marry him because she wants money in return to buy her dream house. But before they formalize their fake-wedding in the court, an unwanted guest couple ( Paresh Rawal and Tanvi Azmi ) lands up at their place in London and turn their life upside-down. What all Aryan and Anaya do to get rid of them is the crux of the story.

Still from the film Guest Iin London

Performances: Kartik Aaryan , who is still known as the Pyaar Ka Punchnama guy, is the lead of the movie. He impressed the audience in the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series because there he had the backup of a good screenplay and other equally abled actors. But here, he falls flat in the absence of a strong story. He tries his best to keep you entertained and engaged with his comic act, but unfunny dialogues and stale screenplay pull him down every time. Talking about Kriti Kharbanda , who was last seen in Raaz Reboot , the actress overacts throughout the film. The chemistry between the lead pair is bearable, though. Now, it’s time to talk about senior actors, Paresh Rawal and Tanvi Azmi . I am yet not able to figure out what made veteran actor Paresh Rawal sign this film! He has a very prolific work profile! But Guest Iin London is perhaps going to be the worst addition to it. Tanvi Azmi , too, fails to make any impact, all because of a poorly written character. The only actor, which manages to make you laugh, is Sanjay Mishra . As a Pakistani-British neighbour, he is damn good at his act. Ajay Devgn ’s cameo is good, but by the time it comes, the audiences may lose all their patience to sit through the film. Other actors in the supporting cast are average.

Direction: The film is directionless from the very beginning to the end. It is hard to believe that it is directed by Ashwni Dhir , the same director who made entertaining films like Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge ? and Son Of Sardaar . He should have not touched Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge ? and make its sequel. We know Ashwni can make better films, provided he chooses his subjects wisely in the future.

Technical Aspects: Well, it’s a task to find anything good in this film. From hackneyed screenplay and uninspiring performances to incompetent direction, everything is bad in the movie. The film is filled with crass and forced humour, racist jokes and too much of fart.

Music: All songs in the film are in Punjabi and seem forced! It seems all filmmakers believe the whole nation understands Punjabi and wants to listen to Punjabi songs only. Seriously?

Final Verdict: It’s better to sit at home and watch Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge ? again on television, instead of wasting your money on its abysmal sequel.
