Ajith will begin filming for his next project with H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor titled #AK61, less than two months after the release of his last film with the makers, Valimai (2022). The actor arrived in Hyderabad three days ago and will shoot his first scene on April 11th.
A source revealed, “Ajith flew in a private aircraft to Hyderabad last week. The shoot will kick start tomorrow, and will go on for at least two months at a stretch.”
The shoot is expected to last at least two months, according to reports. Despite the fact that the filmmakers have yet to make an official announcement, a picture of the cast and crew has appeared on social media. Ghibran provides music as Nirav Shah cranks up the camera. The starring lady is still a mystery.
“The makers are in talks with one of the leading actresses in the south industry. The announcement will be made within this week,” the insider continues, dismissing rumours that Tabu and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had been approached to play the female lead.
The source further said, “A massive set of Mount Road has been erected in a studio in Hyderabad, where the team will be shooting a major chunk of the film. One of the key components of the set-up is a bank. The story revolves around a bank, and what happens in it and how Ajith’s character is involved in it. Vinoth had done extensive research for this script.”
Ajith's new look for AK61, which includes a rugged beard and sleek hairdo, has generated a lot of talk. His dazzling persona, which has never been seen before, has peaked audiences' interest in the film, and they are impatiently awaiting additional information. After Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai, AK61 is the trio's third collaboration.
