South superstar Dhanush is all set to make his Hollywood debut with Russo brothers’ The Gray Man starring Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling. The actor has piqued fans’ interest ever since he announced the collaboration and fans can’t wait to see him in the international project. A special screening was organized in LA as the production team and fans kept track of the remaining days until the movie's premiere. The star-studded cast was present at a special press conference that was held after the screening to discuss their experiences working on the film.
Dhanush had a hilarious response when the moderator asked about how he ended up in the movie. To note, Dhanush has a small yet crucial part to play in the film. He apparently has very little dialogue while portraying an assassin. The Raanjhanaa (2013) actor replied, "I don't know how I ended up in this film."
"The casting agency in India told me that there was a Hollywood project. I was like, 'ok'. He said it was a big film. I asked, 'which film?' Then, I asked him to share the details. It couldn't get bigger than this. Of course, I don't have much screen time. But, I was super thrilled. I was looking for an opportunity to explore and to learn more. This was such an amazing opportunity. I hope I delivered," said the 38-year-old actor.
On July 15, The Gray Man will have a limited release in the US. On July 22, Netflix will have a global premiere of the film.
