Krithi Shetty is off to a fantastic acting career in the South. The actress made an impressive debut with Uppena, which proved to be commercially successful. She then went on to deliver two more hits with Shyam Singha Roy and Bangarraju, giving her the kind of successful start to her film career that any aspiring actor or actress could only dream of. The actress has two more theatrical releases which include The Warriorr opposite Ram Pothineni and Vanangaan starring South’s biggest superstar Suriya.
Expressing how grateful she is to have such a start, the actress said, "In the first year of shooting I was trying to understand the industry and now I feel very lucky to have the audience on my side. I'm very thankful to Uppena for giving me such a big debut.” Talking about her character in The Warrior, she said, "I have not played a girl next door yet, and this is one such precise role. None of my roles do not have any similarity."
The Warrior stars Ram Pothineni as the male antagonist. When asked about her experience working with him, she replied, "Ram is a very chill guy and very easy-going. It didn't take a lot of time for me to get comfortable with him on the sets because of how easy-going he is. It was wonderful working with him. I could easily convey things to him without thinking ``If I can or cannot."
Krithi who will be resuming her shoot for the Suriya starrer film Vanangaan shared how excited she is to work with him. "It is a Suriya and Bala sir combination and I cannot ask for more. Working with Bala sir I realized, he is such a perfectionist. On the first day of my shoot, he gave me so much confidence. And Suriya sir, I heard too many nice stories about him but after I met him, I realized he is beyond perfection. The way he treats people, I think everybody should be inspired to be like him," said the 18-year-old actress.
Apart from her upcoming release, the actress will also be seen in NC22 starring Naga Chaitanya and the film Macherla Niyojakavargam.
