Naga Chaitanya last appeared in the film Thankyou starring Raashi Khanna and Malavika Nair. He is currently busy promoting his Bollywood debut film Laal Singh Chaddha. Apart from being in the headline for his upcoming film, he is also in the news for his personal life. After divorcing Samantha, Chaitanya is currently the most eligible bachelor in the Telugu cinema business. Recently, Naga Chaitanya explained the significance of his arm tattoo and pleaded with his fans not to copy it. The morse code tattoo, which features the actor's and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's wedding date, was made public by the actor. He added that he had not thought about getting the tattoo covered up after they split up.
Chay revealed, “I met a few fans who've tattooed like my name and all that and they've imitated this tattoo (gesturing to his forearm). This is not something you would want to imitate. It's the day I got married. So I won't want the fans to put that. I feel really bad when they tattoo these things. It's like 'don't, things might just change. I can change the tattoo'.”
When asked if he had really considered getting rid of the tattoo, the actor responded, "No, I haven't thought about it, it's fine." The answer he gave when asked what he would do if he ran into his ex-wife Samantha today was, "Say hi, give her a hug." Following a four-year marriage, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya divorced in October 2021. Before getting married in Goa in October 2017, the couple had been dating for a while.
Naga Chaitanya and Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha will release in theatres on August 11. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh in pivotal roles. Chay also has NC22 with Krithi Shetty and a web series named Dhootha alongside Prachi Desai in his lineup.
