It is the festive season as we celebrate one of the biggest festivals of India which is Navaratri, a nine-day celebration of dance, prayers, and food that ends on the tenth day with the festival of Dussehra. And this year, Dussehra is going to be back as two huge films including Nagarjuna’s The Ghost and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Godfather will hit the theatres on October 5. As the day is marked a national holiday on the occasion of Dussehra, audiences are surely going to flood the theatres to watch their favorite and biggest stars on the silver screen. Well, the first day collections of the films will give us a result on who will lead the box office charts!
The Malayalam movie Lucifer, directed by Mohan Lal and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is remade as The Godfather in Telugu. Salman Khan appears in the political action-drama in an extended cameo. Nayanthara, Satyadev, and Murali Sharma are among the other stars in the movie. Chiranjeevi will play the part of Brahma, a mass leader, while Satya Dev will play politician Jaidev.
Praveen Sattaru is the director of the action thriller The Ghost. Along with Gul Panag, Anikha Surendran, Manish Chaudhari, and Ravi Varma, the movie stars Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan in the lead roles. Nagarjuna, who will be portraying an Interpol agent, will perform previously unseen action scenes.
Talking about the clash, Chiranjeevi said, “With Nagarjuna, there is no competition. We are attempting to demonstrate our abilities and prove ourselves in these two distinctive flicks.” On the other hand, Nagarjuna also spoke highly of Chiranjeevi’s film saying, “Along with The Ghost, my close friend Chiranjeevi's GodFather will be released on October 5. I hope both movies are huge box office successes.”
