South cinema’s lady superstar Nayanthara and director Vignesh Shivan got married on June 9 in a lavish ceremony held at Mahabalipuram, Chennai. According to sources, the power couple had sold Netflix the streaming rights to their wedding, and their fans couldn't wait to see the beautiful ceremony. According to sources, the streaming giant paid a staggering sum of Rs. 25 crores for the streaming rights. In an unexpected turn of events, the streaming giant is apparently pulling out of the deal.
Despite the fact that they were married in a private ceremony, prominent figures were also present. Along with producer Boney Kapoor, other notable figures from the industry included Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee, Karthi, and Vasanth Ravi.
Recently, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan celebrated their one-month wedding anniversary. To commemorate the occasion, the filmmaker shared photos of Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Suriya, and many other prominent people who attended their wedding. The pictures Shivan posted on Instagram on his one-month anniversary appear to have displeased the streaming giant.
However, Nayanthara is equally upset with the unexpected change of events.
According to prior rumours, the couple didn't spend any money on wedding planning because the streaming giant completed all of the tasks to their preferences. The Netflix crew reserved a room at the luxury hotel in Mahabalipuram. They were the ones who organised the security personnel, make-up artists, and food, which cost Rs 3500 each meal.
On the work front, Nayanthara will be next seen in Atlee’s Jawan alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
