Actor Vijay Deverakonda has been trending for an appearance on the popular talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’. Joined by his ‘Liger’ co-star Ananya Panday the duo covered a range of topics that the host Karan usually brings up on the ‘Koffee’ couch. Vijay was quite conserved and calm and collected during the episode but the Allu Arjun star did drop some major bombs. At one instance the host asked Vijay if he endorse a condom brand, a phase that the show’s past seasons fell into controversy about. This did not seem to throw off Vijay, the actor calmly expressed his approval in doing so and how he feels it is the sensible thing to do. It was not long before the host during the show’s infamous ‘rapid fire’ round asked Vijay if he would pose in the nude for a shoot. In light of the current sensationalism around Ranveer Singh’s nude shoot, actor Vijay’s answer dropped jaws.
The ‘Liger’ star said, "I wouldn't mind if shot well." The calmness exuded during this interaction is what probably makes the answer stand out more. As mentioned earlier, the condom endorsement question was met with pure knowledge “I think it's a really smart, safe thing to do if you don't want to have ten babies. This is my endorsement right now” said the actor. Coming back to the nude shoot instance, the host Karan asked Ananya if she would like to see this shoot from Vijay. Ananya Panday casually replied, "I have a little bit, in Liger. But I mean, who wouldn't?". Fans would recall a post for ‘Liger’ showing Vijay in the nude with a bouquet of roses in his hand. The poster read "Saala crossbreed" and was quite a shocker.
Along the lines of the film. ‘Liger’ will soon be released in theatres on the 25th of August. The film can be enjoyed by the audience in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film featured the story of Vijay’s character who is a boxer but started out as a ‘chaiwala’. Ananya Panday plays the role of Vijay’s love interest. The film is helmed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Karan Johar. The film also has a shocking appearance by Mike Tyson.
