Emmy Award-winning web series Delhi Crime fans have been waiting for season 2 of the show. Finally, the wait is over, the second season trailer of "Delhi Crime" from Netflix India has been released today. Along with Rasika Dugal and Rajesh Tailang, actor Shefali Shah reprises her role as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi this season. Two weeks ago, the show's teaser was unveiled. And now along with the trailer, the makers announced that Delhi Crime season 2 will premiere from August 26th onwards on Netflix.
In the trailer, Shefali leads yet another vital inquiry to protect Delhi's older residents from a gang of assassins. Even as they battle a personnel shortage and an uptick in crime, the Delhi Police is currently looking for a serial killer. Shefali tells her squad about the killings in the trailer and says, "It's something you will never witness in your entire career as a police officer." The murders continue even when the authorities track the killers' trail and apprehend several of them. The video concludes with Shefali pointing a gun at someone while the cops’ race around the nation's capital.
Shefali Shah shared the trailer on her social media account and wrote, "An ominous gang, a city in panic. Are DCP Vartika and her squad prepared for the chaos to come? The trailer for DELHI CRIME SEASON 2 IS HERE!" The first season was based on the 2012 Delhi gang rape and murder incident, which shocked the entire nation. The tale was set in the aftermath of the gang rape when Vartika Chaturvedi (Shefali) is tasked with identifying those guilty for the assaults and the victim's subsequent death.
