Juhi Chawla, who most recently appeared in Rishi Kapoor’s swan song Sharmaji Namkeen (2022), is all set to star in the forthcoming web series Friday Night Plan. The series stars Irrfan Khan’s son, Babil Khan, and is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment. Vatsal Neelakantan is calling the shots for the show which began filming in May.
On Tuesday, the Ishq (1997) actress took to her Twitter handle to make the official announcement, thanking Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani for their "warm welcome." She posted a video of a welcome letter and presents she received when she joined the Friday Night Plan team. The letter read, "Dear Juhi, we are excited to have you on the Friday Night Plan tea and are looking forward to shooting this incredible journey with you! Best wishes Ritesh + Frahan (sic)."
