Kangana Ranaut has been constantly promoting her captivity-based tv show Lock Upp on Instagram, in addition to hosting it on weekends. In yet another post about the popularity of the show, the actor has pulled filmmaker Karan Johar into it. She announced that Lock Upp had reached 200 million views and implied that Karan Johar would now be crying in secret.
Kangana Ranaut wrote on her Instagram story saying, “As lock up hits 200M views .... Sari changu mangu sena/media of cruella /papa jo along with him, going to cry chup chup ke… itne papad belne ke baad bhi dekho 200M aur abhi aage aage dekho hota hua kya, tere rone ke din as gaye papa jo.” Have a look:
Kangana has been at odds with Karan since she referred to him as "the flagbearer of nepotism" during an appearance on his talk show, Koffee With Karan. Earlier this month, she dragged Hrithik Roshan into it as well, saying that the series's performance is a source of concern for him. A few days back Kangana Ranaut expressed her gratitude and thanked everyone on her Instagram account for making Lock Upp a successful show. She said, “I'm overwhelmed with the love and affection that Lock Upp is receiving from the viewers. This proves that the concept of the show is unique and highly entertaining. The views on the show are proof that Ekta Kapoor's vision has once again hit the bullseye and that along with the huge reach that MX Player has revealed that together, they know the audience's pulse better than anyone else on OTT.
