Starring Madhuri Dixit in the lead role, The Fame Game is a series based on the life of Anamika Anand, a renowned Bollywood celebrity, and the prices she had to pay to stay in the fame game. The trailer of the series, which will be the debut of Dixit in the digital world, will be released tomorrow.
Madhuri shared the teaser on her Instagram account today and wrote, "Be it stardom or glamour, everything has a dark side to it. Learn more about the flip side of fame in Bollywood star Anamika Anand’s life in the series The Fame Game. Tomorrow's trailer will be released. #TheFameGame #TheFameGameOnNetflix.”
In the teaser, Madhuri, playing the role of Anamika, is seen on the red carpet getting clicked by shutterbugs as she poses in a red dress.
The series was initially titled Finding Anamika, but it was later changed to The Fame Game. The series is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli, and produced by Karan Johar. Madhuri Dixit is playing the lead and, along with her, Sanjay Kapoor, Manav Kaul, Suhasini Mulay, Lakshvir Saran, and Muskkaan Jaferi will be seen in major roles.
The series will premiere on February 25th on Netflix.
