If reports are to be believed, Garmi stars Mukesh Tiwari, Vineet Kumar and Jatin Goswami in lead roles.
Dhulia, who is known for the National Award-winning film Paan Singh Tomar (2012) and Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster series, had previously tackled the theme of student politics in his 2005 directorial Haasil, starring Hrishita Bhatt, Irrfan Khan and Jimmy Sheirgill. The film is considered to be one of Dhulia's finest works and has attained a cult status over the years.
