'Adipurush', which stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, has had a rough time at the box office, which makes people wonder if it will be able to make back its huge budget. Unfortunately, the movie isn't doing as well at the box office as people had hoped it would. According to the sources, 'Adipurush' would need to make 600 crores in gross sales to be profitable. But the way the movie is going now makes this seem very doubtful. It is expected that the movie will make a little bit more than 400 crores in theatres. Based on its current gross earnings of 348.90 crores, this means that 'Adipurush' still needs to make an extra 200+ crores to hit the point where it breaks even.
For all languages, the breakeven point for the Indian market is 320 crores. Considering how well the movie has done so far, reaching this number seems like a hard job. It's important to keep in mind that these numbers come from sources in the industry and should be used as ballpark figures.
