The movie ‘Adipurush’, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, has finally come out in theatres. The 2019 news about ‘Adipurush’ said that it would be a modern take on the Hindu epic Ramayana. But when the first trailer came out in October of last year, it got mixed reviews, which made the directors take a step back and improve the visual effects. Even though this was a delay, Prabhas fans were still excited to see the movie in a theatre.

As soon as the movie came out, fans from all over the country went to see it. Unfortunately, it looks like ‘Adipurush’ didn't live up to the high hopes its fans had for it. Netizens shared their disappointment on Twitter, focusing on how mythological figures were portrayed and how well the visual effects were done.

One of the biggest complaints was about how Prabhas looked in the movie. Many people thought he looked like Jesus Christ instead of Lord Rama, as was supposed. Saif Ali Khan's version of Ravana was also criticised by fans, who said that he looked more like an Afghan attacker than the famous King Ravana.

Take A Look At The Tweets:

One user made fun of Prabhas’s, look says he looks like Jesus

Another Tweeted that Om Raut Booked seats for Hanumanji and made him watch Jesus instead of Ram ji

A user posted disappointed by the VFX and poor portrayal, calling it an All India Tiktok Association

One user made fun of hairstyles in the movie

Another user roasts the character portrayal, says even Allu Arjun couldn’t save Adipurush

Another user said Indrajeet was shown more like a South Delhi Tattoo artist

Netizens also grumbled about the character Indrajeet's unique tattoos and the poor quality of the visual effects, which got the most criticism. Several jokes and tweets brought up these problems and said that people were disappointed with how the movie was made overall.

Even though there was a lot of disapproval, a heart-warming thing happened at one theatre that caught the attention of many. People all over the world watched a video of a monkey peeking out from behind a wall, which went viral. The monkey's unexpected appearance made the people watching ‘Adipurush’ happy. They cheered and chanted "Jai Hanuman Ji" as a tribute to the beloved deity while watching the show.

Overall, ‘Adipurush’ may not have met the fans' hopes when it came out, which has led to a lot of memes and critical discussions online. The biggest problems that netizens had with the movie were how it portrayed mythological figures and how good the special effects were. These problems overshadowed some of the good things that happened during the screening.
