Adipurush: Mumbai Theatre Owner Has A MASIVE OUTBURST On The Makers Of Prabhas Starrer; Says 'All Seats Are Going EMPTY' (Details Inside)

Since ‘Adipurush’ was released in theatres a few days ago, Om Raut has been the target of ire from online users. Many attacked the director for wrongly portraying the ‘Ramayana’ and demeaning the mythology. The director of Maratha Mandir and Gaiety Galaxy, Manoj Desai, has also criticised the movie.

Last Friday, the mythological movie had a fantastic opening. In truth, the movie did well throughout its opening weekend; but, things started to go south on Monday as a result of negative reviews and word-of-mouth. Desai is not pleased with the movie's subpar current box office performance.

According to accounts, Manoj Desai took harsh action against the ‘Adipurush’ creators. “This is definitely not Ramayana. I am under obligation to run this film in my theatre. I am very upset.” He then lashed out at the movie's star, Prabhas, and started interrogating him about who he was in 'Baahubali' and who he is today. He questioned how someone could offer such Chhapri dialogues without first doing their studies.

“Maafi maangni chahiye. Lekin inko to bhagwan bhi maaf nahi karega. Inko janta maaf nahi karegi. Ye kahike nahi rahe ye picture ke baad mai likhkar de sakta hu.” Desai continued by saying that Dara Singh, who played Hanuman in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, would have destroyed the Adipurush producers if he were still alive today. “All the seats are going empty, which seat are you reserving for Hanuman in theatres, answer me?” said Manoj Desai angrily. He then added, “Itni bakwas religious film kabhi banana nahi. Kabhi kisike dil se khelna nahi. Yaha tak humare Muslim biradaro ne interview diye hai ke hume ye dekhkar dukh ho raha hai ke Hindu log apni Ramayana thik se bana nahi paayae.”
