Actor Pankaj Tripathi is in grief at the moment. His father has passed away and as soon as he came to know about it, he immediately left Mumbai for his home in Bihar. The last rites will be performed in his native village Belsand where the elderly parents of Pankaj Tripathi used to live. But now his father has said goodbye to the world. It is being told that his father was 99 years old.
Pankaj Tripathi’s ‘OMG 2’ co- star Akshay Kumar on X (formerly known as Twitter) wrote in Hindi, “Deeply saddened by the news of the passing away of my friend and co-star TripathiiPankaj's father. No one can fulfill the absence of parents. May God give place to his father's soul at his feet. Om Shanti.”

Pankaj In An Interview Revealed What His Parents Expected Him To Choose Another Profession
Pankaj Tripathi kept mentioning his parents in many interviews and shows. He had told how he was completely unaware of his son's work and did not know how much fame his son was earning in the world. Even after coming to Mumbai, he did not watch any of his son's films in the theater because he did not like Mumbai. He was a resident of the village countryside, so he did not like the crowd, noise and high-rise buildings here. In an interview, Pankaj revealed that his father wanted him to become a doctor. But Pankaj liked acting and decided to make a career in this field. Through hard work and struggle, he has achieved a big position. He got the support of his mother, but his father always worried about his future.

At present, he has reached Bihar for the last rites of his father.
