The comedy king of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar, is all set to return with the fifth installment of his popular franchise, 'Housefull'. The actor, who has been a part of all the previous four films, will once again team up with his co-star and friend, Riteish Deshmukh, for the upcoming project. The duo announced the film on social media in June this year, along with a poster that featured them in different avatars from different eras.

The Housefull 5 Shooting Commencement:
The film, which is titled 'Housefull 5', will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani, who is known for his hit film 'Dostana'. The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, who has been backing the franchise since its inception in 2010. According to reports, Akshay will start shooting for the film on January 15, 2024, after wrapping up his other commitments. The film is expected to be a multi-starrer, with several actors from the previous films making a comeback, as well as some new faces joining the cast.
Housefull 5 Budget:
'Housefull 5' will reportedly be made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crore, making it one of the most expensive comedy films ever made in India. The film will also be shot extensively in the UK, where the franchise has a huge fan following. The makers are planning to release the film in Diwali 2024, hoping to cash in on the festive season.
